Technology Professional Development Tutorials
I recently finished teaching my first set of courses as Assistant Professor and Director of Educational Technology at Fairfield University. It was a great experience and I look forward to many more. My students created professional development tutorials for their final course assessment. They submitted some great products using various modes of presentation. They also created something to show a potential employer in a future interview.
The description provided for the assignments was:
Students will create a professional development resource relating to a technology tool of their choosing. Alternatively, students can also create a professional development resource that uses multiple tools to address a specific skill covered in this course. The product should be organized so the various tools work together toward a common goal rather than be just a collection of tools.

This is phenomenal. I am so impressed at how your students integrated best practices with technology integration. I am sending this out to my personal learning networks.
FYI…I use Today’s Meet all the time, but love these new ideas.
Thanks again,
Claire Ratfield.
